Gamuda Bhd has agreed to purchase a 20 per cent equity stake in Cloud Space Sdn Bhd for RM18 million for developing further its digital strategy at the cloud and AI space. This is an important milestone for Gamuda on advancing its technological capabilities towards reaching the fast-growing Malaysia’s digital transformation market.

Cloud Space is the market leader in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data automation, and cybersecurity space. Having the status of a Premier Partner in Google Cloud, the company has on offer several solutions that consist of the following: Google Cloud, Google Workspace, Chrome Enterprise, and Google for Education services for government and private sector customers in Malaysia. The company’s know-how in these areas should complement Gamuda’s existing technology and digital capabilities, particularly in the context of delivering large-scale engineering and construction projects.
